In honor of Moonlighting's premiere 40 years ago tonight, here's my popular 2021 "commercial" inspired by the show's opening titles!

As part of the Millennium Celebration, the anthem "Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand" was produced in several musical genres including Country, Latin, Pop & Gospel.
I thought I had all of them until I discovered this somewhat forgotten variation as part of a recently contributed archive of theme park music.
The following is the 2OOO "Techno" variation created for the New Year's Eve celebration held nightly on Pleasure Island.

An archivist's work is never done.
While preparing to share some assets with DreamfinderGuy (Twitter/X) for an upcoming article he's writing about GM's transportation pavilion, I came across this vibrant (new-to-me) triptych created by automotive artist Tony Warren to celebrate the (notoriously delayed) opening of Test Track in 1999. A large-scale version of this hung in the GM VIP Lounge until its transformation into SimTrack in 2012.
It actually makes the original attraction look interesting and futuristic! (lol)
