B-roll for a Seabase

In today's world, people are still astonished by how much footage is shot for any motion picture. But what is far less known is this has also been a common practice for theme park attractions since the premiere of the Enchanted Tiki Room in 1963 where elaborate lighting and film setups were used to present the tropical paradise in the best possible way. Although The Living Seas was much more realistic in its depiction, it was just as comprehensive, taking a few days to complete.
This footage would be used for various marketing purposes, not only to showcase the (then) new pavilion but also to be recycled many times over for montages, VHS (and later DVD) souvenirs, as well as multiple campaigns for literally decades after opening.

The following is a presentation of the entire B-Roll complete with multiple takes and production slates. While it was shot silently, I've added and soundtrack of location-specific music and effects from the Future World Soundtrack Series Album

Techno Millennium

As part of the Millennium Celebration, the anthem "Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand" was produced in several musical genres including Country, Latin, Pop & Gospel.
I thought I had all of them until I discovered this somewhat forgotten variation as part of a recently contributed archive of theme park music.

The following is the 2OOO "Techno" variation created for the New Year's Eve celebration held nightly on Pleasure Island.

Enjoy!

A Music Purists Paradise
The Official ^Instrumental^ Album of EPCOT Center

Our 15th-anniversary celebration kicks into high gear with this unique tribute to the park's musical repertoire.

Inspired by the once frequent and highly treasured Official Albums of the parks, The Official ^Instrumental^ Album of EPCOT Center, utilizes the latest AI* audio separation models to present, for the first time ever, these classics in purely instrumental form, accompanied by many once-commercially released medleys and augmented by several that should have been.

*AI with considerable manual (aka human) efforts to remove AI artifacts, remove volume “ducking”, and enhancement to adjust for the loss of EQ.
